Structural Design Corporation (SDC) is a licensed consulting engineering firm located in Libertyville, Illinois.  We have been providing engineering and inspection services since 1979.  We are a licensed design firm in the State of Illinois. 

SDC provides residential structural inspection and structural engineering services in the 6 county Chicago area and Northern California.  SDC believes in full disclosure.  Since almost no home is perfect, we try to help Home Buyers understand the condition of their dream home prior to purchase.

SDC also serves the steel industry where we excel in the design, upgrade, and rehabilitation of EOT Crane Runways and other mill structures  across the United States and South America.
